Since Michelle has arrived in Canada, we have struggled where to live, do we remain in Ontario or head West? Do we rent an apartment or a house? But since watching the YouTube Channel “Back to Reality” we have decided that Living the Van Life might just be for us.
Michelle and I love travelling, we do not like the idea of sitting in a house or an apartment. We would rather live life in the moment. Everyone that I know who live in apartments or houses are so strapped with debt, and they seem to forget to live. Not trying to judge, but we know what makes us happy, and that is experiencing life and seeing what’s out there for us.
I can remember, I picked Michelle up after her shift at Starbucks. It was 23:30 or so in the evening, and we were getting ready for bed. I just had to show Michelle this video, from the “Back to Reality” channel.
Their reasoning just makes so much sense to us. I know many in my family will not understand, but that does not matter to me. This is my life, and I would much rather spend it experiencing life than growing old and dusty in a place that makes me so unhappy. We decided that the Van Life is for us, so all of our spare time has been spending researching and looking for the best van for us. Over the next few weeks, Michelle and I will be looking for a vehicle that we will live in here in the Niagara Region.
